Taking a shuttle alone and having a driver or business who makes people feel unsafe would be a nightmare. After reading the poor reviews here, I am very thankful I did not book with them. She said, "FINE!! then dont book with us bc we dont need you!!!" and hung up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first, not knowing if she was having a bad day, but that she has not been kind in communicating with me at all. then she said "i mean, we are open until 7." I said, "Ok, so to confirm: you will not provide me with a phone number for the driver and my only option is to call this office number? and if it is after 7, I have no way to communicate with you?" She said, "I mean, what is your problem? why are you being so rude?" I told her that I had called and spoken with her 4-5x over the past two days, and every time she was rude. We don't give out our drivers numbers." I asked how she recommends that I communicate any changes in my travel plans to the company and she was silent. (I wanted to be courteous of his time.) and she again just said,"No. Since there have been many airlines cancelling flights lately, I asked if I could have the contact information for the driver in case I was delayed, etc. I told her the name of the hotel, and she interupted, "No, not the name I need the street." This was her tone with every question I asked. She was abrupt, she asked where I would be going in the Keys. Since I was told to "go find another way to get to Key West, then!!!", I never completed my booking - but the only woman I spoke with said that she was the owner. I called the phone number to ask some questions and make the reservation (their website is broken). I have never had such a negative experience in recent memory of booking travel or transportation. Impossible for him to have been anywhere close to 30-40 minutes out. The driver personally called my cell after we had already gotten an Uber to the keys And confirmed he was in the keys for the wreck. If it was true, why would she say 30 to 40 minutes and he would be there to start with when she knew he was still in the Keys!!! Then she try’s telling me that she told me that to start with which was an out right lie. where was the wreck? In the keys she says. She says he is just getting through the wreck but he has to drop the keys passengers off in Miami!!!! What the. 2 hours past our pick up time I call back again. I call back 45 minutes later, lady says another 30 to 40 minutes, still stuck. I call at 2:40pm, office lady says driver is stuck in traffic from a wreck and he should be there in 30 to 40 minutes. 4 people waiting and no phone call from them. We were scheduled for a 2:15 pickup and 2:30 departure from FLL to Marathon. This was without a doubt, The Worst Travel Experience I've had in over 50 years of Traveling throughout the world. The only way I can see that this ridiculous business STAYS in business, is that they are the only game in town, other than an almost 5-hour bus ride, or a $350.00 Uber ride to the Miami Airport. They ended the conversation stating: ".that's the way things work in the Keys." and then they hung-up. They did not adhere to their commitments on pick-up times, and when questioned after the driver left us stranded they were extremely condescending and simply said "well, the driver is gone.you're just gonna have to find another way to the airport". We followed the instructions they gave us to the letter, confirmed our reservations and pick-up time the day prior to the scheduled pick-up, were ready to go at the time they stated they would pick us up - and were then left stranded. Left us stranded with no way to get to the airport to catch our flight. Driver was extremely rude and confrontative for no reason, with absolutely no people skills.
